As a result, Stansberry was "ordered to pay $1.5 million in restitution and civil penalties for disseminating false stock information and defrauding public investors through a financial newsletter," according to The Baltimore Sun.

DANNELLY, CAROLYN STOKES DODSON, 97 of Westminster Towers in Orlando died November 25, 2012. Her sweet smile, her lively spirit and her always-positive outlook will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was born in Atlanta, GA. to Laura and Robert Stokes, who later founded Stokes Monument Company on Orange Avenue. In 1926, she moved with her family to Tampa, and then to Orlando in 1938. She married the late Russell M. Dodson who died in 1954. In 1958 she married the late Lt. Col. Frank P. Dannelly and lived in Orlando, California, Germany and Utah before retiring in Orlando. She was a member of the Orlando Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Jefferson Davis Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Orlando since 1938. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Stansberry (Frank) of Maitland; three grandchildren; Mills
Stansberry (Amy) of Greenville, SC; Sara Stansberry Wilson of Maitland; and Frank Porter Stansberry (Andrea) of Baltimore, MD; and seven great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 28th at 4 pm at the First Methodist Church in Downtown Orlando. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, FL. Arrangements entrusted to Robert Bryant Funeral & Cremation Chapel 407-240-6080.
